Carol of the Birds (Celtic)

Carol Bird, Carol of the Birds

There are several versions of the Christmas song, Carol of the Birds. A Spanish version sings about Jesus. John Weeler of Australia sings about birds dancing. A version from the French Basque Quercy is called: Whence Comes the Rush of Birds. This version sings about Christ & God. A Celtic version called: Cuckoo Cuckoo is a poem blessing birds, by Margaret T MacGreggor. Another Celtic version is called Curro Curro.

The dance I have chosen is Scottish & Irish steps: Strathspey & Reels. The costume I am wearing is my own historical design.
